My top 5 study tips

Never be afraid to ask for help. If you find yourself struggling in class, don't hesitate to ask your teachers or friends for advice or explanations. No question is too small!

Develop sustainable habits when it comes to studying. Try to find a way to make studying fun and engaging for yourself, whether it be watching videos, using whiteboards to brainstorm, or going through flashcards with friends!

Set achievable goals for yourself throughout the year and take the time to reward yourself! A to-do list helps to visualise what you aim to achieve before the end of your study session, reward yourself for every task you manage to tick off!

Always reflect on your feedback as a way to improve. Your teachers give suggestions to help you overcome your past mistakes, and feedback generally tends to be the most valuable advice you can receive from your tests. Feedback helps you understand your strengths and areas where you can improve.

Aim to understand what you've learned AS you learn, rather than attempting to memorise unfamiliar concepts close to exams. This can be achieved through efficient note-taking and reflecting on what you've learnt weekly.
