My top 5 study tips
1Work together! It's easy to become competitive, especially in the HSC, but if you study as a part of a group, you will be more motivated and someone will hold you accountable (other than yourself...)
2Spaced repetition! Research indicates information is better retained through revisiting concepts - so take time to look over past concepts, and revise!
3Quiz yourself! A sea of colourful binders and beautiful printed notes which you read through as passive forms of learning. More active forms like reviewing flashcards and quizzing yourself are more efficient and will lead to better results if you use them properly,
4Ask for help! Your teachers and Talent 100 mentors have likely been through what you are going through. Taking care of yourself and knowing when to reach to ask for guidance or support is important!
5Schedule some exercise and hold yourself accountable! Evidence suggests that exercise and associated endorphins improve memory retention and mood, as well as reduce anxiety.
