My top 5 study tips

1Have a plan! Creating a realistic schedule is vital for any success. Starting study early will avoid procrastination while enabling you to build healthy work habits.

2Clear working space. Make sure your study area is always neat and organised, soothing your mind when it is stressed. This also allows you to find any important textbooks, folders etc when needed. Avoid working in your bedroom and make sure your phone is not anyway close to your working space so you don't get distracted.

3Take breaks! Mental health is just as important as physical health!! Managing our mental health is essential during this period and giving yourself a break after a few hours of hard study is much deserved.

4Reflect. Take the time after an assessment to self evaluate how you went, where you went wrong and how you can improve. Read through any comments or feedback your teachers may have given you and see if you can implement anything into your work. Even the smallest changes can have the biggest impact.

5Think Positive! While it may seem like these grades will define you as a person, do not dwell on one bad test from letting you achieve your goals and unlock your potential. Remember what you are capable of and use this as motivation to improve and be the best possible version of yourself.

Great futures begin with great HSC results
