My top 5 study tips
Create a detailed study plan for the term or exam block ahead. If you don't complete all the planned tasks in one day, ensure you reschedule the task for a later date!
Seek out teacher feedback as often as possible as they are your most valuable resource, particularly for subjects like English. Trust their advice and make sure to act on their suggestions!
Past papers are so crucial, especially for understanding-based subjects like Maths and Chemistry. This should be your main focus from around 2 weeks before the exam.
Refine your exam technique so that you can perform your best on the day. I recommend bringing in a (non-programmable) digital watch, and at the start of the exam writing down the latest time to finish each section. This ensures you never run out of time and can answer every question.
Keep innovating with study methods throughout the year to keep yourself motivated and to keep the study interesting. I recommend using an app like Flora or Forest, or keeping your phone outside your study area.
